PORTFOLIO
Inspired by the art of Gustav Klimt, I created this lobster tail for the Feast of 7 Fishes puzzle...but it didn't make the cut. So, I happily use it for my logo now.
This Italian/American celebration on Christmas Eve is commemorated in puzzle form. Digitally painted for Dashing Dan Puzzles.

This frightful fella did not make the cut! Alas, he is not on the Feast of 7 Fishes puzzle, but was created in the process. Digital painting of a Sockeye Salmon over a school of salmon surrounded by caviar. (He was still fun to imagine and paint!)
Line art of all things Plymouth for the Plymouth Public Library; sundry uses. My first experience creating line art in Procreate.
All things Plymouth created for the Plymouth Public Library for a variety of uses. Done completely in Procreate.
This little cartoon represents me...I've lived in 4 other countries and 5 different states in the US. I absolutely must bloom where I'm transplanted, since it happens so often!
Created with hopes that 2021 would be healthier for everyone than 2020.
Portrait of Kobe Bryant created in Procreate.
I wanted to attempt a posterized portrait for this piece of George Floyd.
In honor of John Lewis, congressman, statesman, activist.
Painted on the day Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the USA.
Painted on the day that Kamala Harris became the first female Vice President of the USA.
Painted for a digital art class I teach to teenagers, Timothée is my current students' heart throb! I did my best to capture him in his role as space prince, Paul Atreides.
I painted this for my husband and his family. Sadly, his brother Brian passed away in November. An avid fisherman, I chose his favorite pond as the background. The ripples in the water represent a bass he's hoping to catch.
Sweetest little boy you'll ever meet. My second grandson. (note to self: paint your first born grandson asap!)
I created this little sweetie for my sister's business in Maui. Always with that Aloha spirit, she bids folks to please wear their masks during the pandemic.
Lest we forget, we have all celebrated one more trip around the sun living in a pandemic. This was painted on my birthday in 2021. Happy Birthday y'all. Hoping for healthier years ahead.
Had some fun joining the Instagram fad...#cartoonme
I hope to be a life-long-learner. Attending classes via RISDCE. I've taken Children's Book Illustration twice, hoping to improve my skills. In this particular session we were encouraged to illustrate our choice of short story. I chose Aesop's Fable, The Fox & The Crow. Here's the cover, painted in Procreate.
Two page spread for Fox & Crow, drawn in Procreate.

I love to dabble with design and lettering in particular. Had fun coming up with this for the title page of Aesop's Fable, Fox & Crow for RISDCE class, Children's Book Illustration.
Continuing to learn new things with the goal of improving my children's book illustrations, I took another RISDCE class called, Creating Worlds, with James Frio. Great class for stretching me! Hoping to capture a misty Fall morning up in Vermont at Sleepy Hollow Farm. Chalk pastels in Procreate.
What would your kids do if left alone in a quiet cafe?! Another homework piece for the RISDCE class, Creating Worlds.
I've always loved trees and the idea of living in a tree house. I captured a bit of the wonder in this image for the class, RISDCE, Creating Worlds.
Once upon a time, we lived in a beautiful land called Austria. Not often enough we would visit this tiny village built at the base of a glacier. Austria is magical at Christmas time...all the lights turning the streets a wonderful, warm golden color. I did my best to capture this memory in a piece made for the RISDCE class, Creating Worlds with James Frio (excellent teacher, btw!)
Bailey has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I painted this for his momma.
